Howdy!
Today is the day I depart for my European adventure -- I can't believe the time has come for me to leave Texas and travel across the pond. This blog is a way for me to connect with friends and family back home (or anyone else who's interested in studying abroad). I hope you'll keep up with my activities: I'll be traveling with my family to Scotland and London, then on to Bristol and back to London. From there I'll begin my API Study Abroad Program in Leeds on my own, yet I'm sure I'll be making lots of new friends. This is such an exciting experience for me; definitely the scariest thing I've ever done. But I know that I will learn and grow in ways that only come from taking a leap of faith and stepping outside one's comfort zone. Besides, I LOVE all things British and am confident that my trip to the motherland will be spectacular. Check back soon for more posts!
