Our lengthy day of travel consisted of a plane ride from Houston to London, another plane ride from London to Edinburgh, then a train ride from Edinburgh to Pitlochry:

We've all been feeling very jet-lagged; in fact, it's 2:30 AM here, yet my body still thinks we're in Texas! Oh well, it was worth feeling exhausted (and frankly disgusting) to make it here because Scotland is absolutely breathtaking! The town of Pitlochry is so picturesque it's almost hard to believe that this is real and not a part of Fantasy Land at Disney World.
We are staying at the fabulously-named Fisher Hotel -- it is quite lovely and very, very British. My sisters, Claire and Margaret, and I have already had to watch our tongues because we feel the need to speak in a Scottish accent -- we think ours are spot-on, however we don't want to offend anyone by being "those" tourists. We did all try Haggis at dinner (it was actually pretty tasty), so that should give us some street-cred.

Anyway, we are all loving every second so far and can't wait to see what Scotland has to offer! Check back again tomorrow: we're headed to Stirling Castle!
